Welcome to Palisades
The Palisades is a neighborhood at the city’s northwest edge near Georgetown University. Commonly referred to by its residents as a “small town in a big city,” the Palisades is a quiet residential area that offers the convenience of nearby amenities. Most of the houses were built in the early 20th century, but the neighborhood features a wide assortment of styles ranging from bungalows and Cape Cods to a few larger, modern residences. It is known for its charm and has the sensibility of a village unto itself. The community of Phillips Park is adjacent to the Palisades, and comprises 46 architecturally unique, new construction homes located in the Berkley neighborhood.
